Acid-Base Equilibria: Analyzing conjugate acid/base pairs and the acidity or alkalinity of salt solutions.
Enthalpy and Neutralization: Measuring the heat released in neutralization reactions and its practical applications in industry and safety.
Titration Techniques: A deep dive into volumetric analysis, covering primary standards, indicators, and the use of titration curves (pH and conductivity).
Buffers: Understanding how standard, ocean, and blood buffer systems resist changes in pH.
Analysis and Application: Titrating organic acids in wine and pharmaceuticals, and exploring traditional medicine like venom neutralization.
